Debra and I spent time this weekend at a few of the local wineries, two of which we have never visited before. Lost Creek has some really easy drinking reds and have a nice location in the area north of Leesburg. We are considering them as a venue for our wedding next year, and so far they seem affordable and very accommodating. We were fortunate to show up while a local musician named Doug Bell was performing, and we really liked his ability to play the guitar.

While in the area, we stopped by Fabbioli Cellars and stocked up on some of their phenomenal raspberry merlot. Anyone who loves fruity reds or cooking with wine, should do themselves a favor and stop by for a tasting.

Lastly, we redeemed a Groupon for wine and tapas for two at Bogati Bodega in Round Hill. While the location is a little different, the decor is very nice and their wines delicious. Like Lost Creek, the reds at Bogati are approachable for white wine drinkers. I recommend all three wineries to those looking for a nice glass of wine and a relaxing experience.
